The Borno State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), has embarked on sensitization of commercial drivers on road safety to commemorate the West African Road Safety Organisation Day (WARSO).
The event took the personnel under the leadership of the Acting Sector Commander, DCC N.A Ibukilebu to Baga Road Motor Park where Road Users were educated on Road Safety tips, Traffic rules and regulations.
Speaking at the occasion, the Deputy Corps Commander who gave brief history of the day pointed out that it is an annual event observed by member nations to educate, sensitize road users on ethics of good road use.
Also speaking during the safety campaign, the Chairman of NURTW Baga Road Motor Park, Alhaji Goni Kunduri lauded FRSC in the State for it’s commitments on safety on the Highways and he reassured the Command of his members support.
