The University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) on Tuesday conducted open tender for companies on two projects aimed at improving quality services in the hospital.
The projects include procurement and laying of anti bacteria, anti static homogeneous high resilient vinyl floors within the hospital under lot 13 and the training of medical personnel under lot 14.
The bidding presided over by Prof. Mala Bukar Sandabe on behalf of the Chief Medical Director, Prof. Ahmed Ahidjo has six companies involved.
Three companies, J.D International Services, Gold Reef Consultants Ltd, AIMA and Company Nig. Ltd. bidded for lot 13, while Versatile Resources Ltd, Maama Nigeria Ltd and Amoods Projects Ltd bidded for lot 14.
The representatives of the six companies lauded the transparent nature of the tender.
