Expressing happiness over the remarkable and landmark trajectories made in the security sector since the coming of the Tinubu led administration, former SGF, Boss Mustapha said the bold reforms and strategies adopted by Ribadu is yielding the intended results as incidences of violent social insecurity across the length and breadth of Nigeria have drastically reduced leading to a concomitant leap in socio-economic activities and economic rejuvenation.

He told the NSA to extend the goodwill of Adamawa people to president Bola Ahmed Tinubu for extending olive branch to the state by giving Adamawa sons and daughters very important portfolios including the ONSA, the ministry of livestock as well as many others.

“I want to specifically tell you Adamawa citizens are fully behind you for the excellent job you are doing in ridding the country of violent crimes. Extend our goodwill message to Mr. President for identifying and giving Adamawa people very important roles in the administration.

“We are happy that Mr. President has identified and appointed our finest sons and daughters with whom we are very pleased and proud for their excellent performance. The people of Adamawa are truly happy that you have distinguished yourself. Tell the president we are also happy for his choice of the minister of livestock Hon. Idi Muktar, who is a square peg in a square hole, you can’t find any other person that will do better than him,” Mustapha tells Ribadu.

Mustapha also thanked the NSA for the close ties he kept with the Adamawa community despite his tight work schedules and for hosting the Iftar.

“We also thank you for the honour and privilege for this communal unity. It’s simply unprecedented,” he added.

Also speaking, the minister of Livestock, Hon Idi Muktar thanked the NSA for the Iftar meeting, adding that it is a deliberate and calculated way of fostering unity between the diverse people of Adamawa

He said “you are our GAMJI, most of us here in Abuja didn’t meet for years but today under your umbrella as our leader we saw our long time friends, we really appreciate and thank you for this rear privilege. This great vision you initiated should be sustained at regular intervals. Let’s not wait until another Iftar again, since our leader had set the ball running. We are all Adamawa ambassadors, so let us be good ambassadors of our state,” he counselled.

Responding, the visibly elated NSA, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu thanked Adamawa people for their strong support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and for always being there for him noting that he will remain eternally grateful for their support and loyalty.

“God gave me this office using President Bola Asiwaju Tinubu, but the office is yours. Please be coming my brothers and sisters. We have every reason to thank God. I know I have friends and relatives in Adamawa State, but your coming today validated it.

“I used to visit the office of Boss Mustapha, the former SGF with happiness, knowing fully it’s our office. Let us unite because in unity, we can get more benefits from the government. Many states are ahead of us because they are united, while in Abuja, they unite and push each other, may God help us emulate other states. We will continue celebrating each one of us anytime.
And I will not disappoint you. The footprints some of you like Boss Mustapha, Sali Bello, etc left are still relevant in Nigerian governance,” he said.

The NSA noted that upon coming on board, the administration inherited a very challenging security terrain adding that “we are doing our best, you know security is relative, you have to see where we were and where we are now. There is no time we live without security challenges in our history. You can see what we have achieved in less than two years, and we will improve and do more. Even developed nations have their own security challenges,” he said.
