THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ORDINARY PRESIDENT AHMAD ISA  A GROWING CONCERN

By Comrade Suleiman Abubakar

The Nigerian human rights community is gripped with concern and fear over the sudden and unexplained disappearance of Ordinary President Ahmad Isa, the founder and presenter of Brekeke Family Human Rights Radio and Television. As a prominent human rights activist and advocate, Ahmad Isa’s whereabouts have been shrouded in mystery, sparking widespread concern and speculation among Nigerians.

The situation bears an uncanny resemblance to the disappearance of Dadiyata, another human rights activist whose whereabouts remain unknown to this day. The eerie similarity has raised alarm bells among human rights activists and civil society organizations, who are demanding answers about Ahmad Isa’s disappearance.

A Facebook post by senior comrade IG Wala has further fueled concerns, revealing that Ahmad Isa’s phone numbers are going through, but no one is picking up the calls. IG Wala’s poignant question, “WHERE IS THE ORDINARY PRESIDENT? WHERE IS DADIYATA?” has struck a chord with many, highlighting the need for transparency and accountability.

As human rights activists and advocates, we are calling on Ahmad Isa’s family to come forward and provide clarity on his disappearance. We urge them to be transparent and forthcoming about his whereabouts, as the lack of information is only fueling speculation and anxiety.

Furthermore, we call on all human rights activists and civil society organizations in Nigeria to join us in demanding answers about Ahmad Isa’s disappearance. We cannot afford to sit idly by while another human rights activist goes missing, especially in a country where enforced disappearances and extrajudicial actions are a concern.

The disappearance of Ordinary President Ahmad Isa raises fundamental questions about the safety and security of human rights activists in Nigeria. It highlights the need for greater accountability and transparency from authorities, as well as a more robust response from civil society.

We demand that the authorities take immediate action to investigate Ahmad Isa’s disappearance and ensure his safe return. We also call on the Nigerian government to respect and protect the rights of human rights activists, including the right to life, liberty, and security of person.

The silence and inaction of the authorities will only embolden those who seek to silence human rights activists. We will not be silenced, and we will continue to demand answers until Ahmad Isa is safely returned.

Join us in demanding answers about Ordinary President Ahmad Isa’s disappearance. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that human rights activists are protected and respected.
