Support to the gospel: CAN showers accolades on Dr. Emmanuel Musa
• Christens him golden boy of Christian Community
There was an outpour of accolades and encomiums on Adamawa’s most prolific philanthropist, and Frontline trailblazer, Dr. Emmanuel N. Musa by the Adamawa Christian community over his support to the body of Christ.
Following his surfeit acts of benevolence, and strings of contributions, the Christian Association Of Nigeria, (CAN) Adamawa State chapter, deemed it expedient to unanimously honour and name Dr. Emmanuel N. Musa, the President, Emnamu Foundation as the major backbone of Christian, Community.
Making the submission, during the harvest and thanksgiving service held at LCCN Cathedral Nasarawo, Pastor Ldutsi Gabriel, the Youth wing CAN Chairman, Adamawa State noted that the various contributions of the young philanthropists stands him tall amongst contemporaries in the state.
Gabriel emphasized that the numerous supports received from the Philanthropist within a fortnight ago, which runs into tens of millions was not only inspirational and thrilling but a worthwhile venture worthy of emulation.
“Just last week, Dr Emmanuel gave CAN the sum of two million naira in preparation for the forthcoming Christmas Carol. Until now, that’s the major fund received in this regard from an individual and perhaps, the largest sum ever received.
“Today, he gave two million as the Chief harvest and sent one million to LCCN Garden City, Mubi. Outside the state, he gave TCNN Jos the sum of three million Just within a week. Next week also, numerous of the same programs awaits him, which I’m sure, he would oblige to render his support.
“With these handful Contributions, one is safe to say, that the major shoulder on whom CAN and the entire Christian Community lies is that of Dr. Emmanuel.
“Lest I’m misunderstood, I’m not saying he is the only one who contributes to the work of Christ, no. But I dare to say, his Contributions are unequalled, outstanding and unparalleled.
“It could be recalled the same person empowered over one thousand households during the send forth service of Rev. Dr. Dami Mamza, as his tenure ended in June, this year, where tens of millions was spent. This is aside his general philanthropic and humanitarian gestures for all and Sundry. This is the gospels Christ charged us to preach. Show love and care to those in need, especially the underprivileged.
“May I therefore use this avenue to call on the Christian Community to always stand by this Godsent whose way of propagating the gospels is unique and distinct, touching lives of the poor, reviving the hopes and aspirations of many and reaching out to the far reached.
“To me, we can only stand tall to say, we are luck and proud of this illustrious son of ours, and stand by him as the only way to show him our appreciation, love and care and to record to him that we truly reckon with his Contributions towards the growth and development of CAN, Adamawa State.
“May I, by way of conclusion enjoin the well-meaning sons and daughters of Christian Community to emulate the kind examples of Dr. Emmanuel and that alone would be your reward in heaven, says Gabriel,” he said.
