Shelleng/Guyuk federal constituents hail reps member over youths empowerment programmes

The people of Shelleng/Guyuk federal constituency have hailed the member representing the area, Hon Philip Gutuwa over the various developmental and empowerment programmes he brought to the area.

The people who hailed him for the various empowerment programmes praised him for the latest empowerment which they said was the first of its kind in the history of the constituency.

The youths of the area said the last training they had on Post Harvest Crop Value Addition in Agricultural products has enhanced their living standards to a significant level.

Speaking to our correspondent at venue of the latest training session, the consultant, and the General Manager for ADVICK NIG. LTD, Engr. Kayode Victor Adeyemi, said that the training workshop would be more practical than theoretical to improve the skills of the participants in modern ways of agricultural processes for enhancement of their livelihood and reduction of food wastage in their communities.

Mr Joseph Alaba Aina who represented the Executive Director of NSPRI Dr. Mrs Patricia Pessu congratulates the participants for been selected for the exercise. She said value addition to agricultural products is one of the surest ways of engaging Youths in Africa business and sustainable of them in agro-industries. She commended the effort of the Hon.

The Honorable member representing the Guyuk/Shelleng Federal Constituency Hon. Philip A. Gutuwa said, he will do everything in his power to see that poverty level is reduced to nearest minimum in the Constituency using the Known strength of the people in agriculture.

He said that is one of the cardinal point of the APC government for sustaining development and empowerment of the citizen.

He implored the participants to share the knowledge gained in the training with their neighborhood to reduce waste of food production and improve their living standard.
