As the cold war ensued between the Kano paramount ruler Emir Sanusi II and the state governor Abullahi Ganduje continued to take different dimensions, Ja’en Community in Gwale local government area of Kano State has dissociated themselves from a petition emanating from them demanding Kano State House of Assembly investigate Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II over alleged violation of culture and tradition of Kano.
The community under the auspices of Ja’en Concern Citizens Initiatives in a statement jointly signed on Friday by Comrade Tameem Bala Ja’en Chairman and Comrade Ibrahim Yahya Ja’en after a meeting demanded from Kano state House of Assembly to produce the author of the petition as the community is not aware of such name.
The Newshawk recalled that Kano House of Assembly on March 4, constituted an 8 member committee to investigate Emir Sanusi over a petition forwarded by one Muktar Muhammad Ja’en accusing the Emir of an alleged violation of culture and tradition of Kano.
According to the statement, the community totally dissociate itself from the petition pledging allegiance and respect to Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II.
The community, however, threatened to institute legal action against the House of Assembly failure to produce the said Muktar Muhammad Ja’en, the petitioner.
