Against all odds, the pioneer chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has delivered his polling unit to the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Sen Bola Ahmed Tinubu amidst upsets by other major stakeholders of the party.

Ribadu floored the PDP convincingly by scoring 140 votes for Tinubu against Atiku’s 68 votes in his Bako ward polling unit 022 in Yola South local government area of Adamawa State.

But going by results so far released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Nigeria’s electoral umpire, major stakeholders of the party including the Gubernatorial candidate of the party, Sen Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani failed to deliver their polling units to Tinubu as they were roundly defeated by Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the PDP.

Investigation has shown that the Gubernatorial candidate of APC, Binani lost her polling unit 006 Mbamoi ward in Yola South to the PDP by scoring 111 votes against 129 votes polled by the PDP.

Similarly, the party chairman, Samaila Tadawus lost his Banjiram polling unit 006 in Guyuk local government to the PDP. He scored 13 votes for Tinubu as PDP scored 124 votes while labour party scored 145 votes for Peter Obi.
