The Borno State Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Barr. Hauwa Abubakar, has commended Gov. Babagana Zulum for his sustain commitment in the ongoing resettlement exercise embarked on by his administration.
Reacting on the latest resettlement of 424 households in Konduga LGA, Hauwa urged for sustain support to the committed administration in achieving its commitment to better Borno state.
“I would like to take this opportunity to commend His Excellency, Governor Babagana Umara Zulum, for the commissioning of 500 resettlement houses for the residents of Konduga Local Government Area.
“This initiative is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the Governor’s unwavering commitment to addressing the pressing housing needs of displaced families and rebuilding communities affected by insurgency.
“What truly stands out about this project is its comprehensive nature. The integration of schools, healthcare centers, and water infrastructure, alongside resettlement packages that include food items, financial support, and essential household supplies, demonstrates that Governor Zulum is not merely providing shelter; he is laying the groundwork for individuals and families to rebuild their lives with dignity.
“The Governor’s directive to complete an additional 500 houses in Dalwa within six months, along with plans for another 500 houses in Aulari, underscores his proactive approach and determination to ensure that more displaced families are resettled in safe and dignified conditions.
“This initiative and many others, reflects the Governor’s broader vision of sustainable development and social welfare for the people of Borno State.
