President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of eleven personal staff shortly after he announced the reappointment of Boss Mustapha and Abba Kyari as SGF and Chief of Staff respectively.

Senior Special Assistant to the President (Media & Publicity) indicated that Mohammed Sarki Abba was appointed Senior Special Assistant to the President (Household and Social Events) while Ya’u Shehu Darazo was appointed Senior Special Assistant to the President (Special Duties) just as Dr Suhayb Sanusi Rafindadi was appointed as Personal Physician to the President.
Amb. Lawal A. Kazaure was appointed as State Chief of Protocol while Sabiu Yusuf was appointed Special Assistant (Office of the President) and Saley Yuguda was appointed as Special Assistant (House Keeping).
Others are: Ahmed Muhammed Mayo who was appointed as Special Assistant (Finance & Administration), Mohammed Hamisu Sani who was appointed as Special Assistant (Special Duties), while Friday Bethel was appointed as Personal Assistant (General Duties) just as Sunday Aghaeze and Bayo Omoboriowo were appointed Personal Assistant (State Photographer) and Personal Assistant (Presidential Photographer) respectively.
According to the statement, all the appointments take effect from May 29, 2019.
