The North East National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mustapha Salihu insisted that the suspension of Adams Aliyu Oshiomlole as the National Chairman of the party still stands.
According to him, ” the Federal High Court In Kano that set aside an earlier suspension by the FCT High Court, in fact does not have the jurisdiction to that.”
Salihu said the court in Kano has made abuse of the court process and the constitution of the country that cannot be allowed to stand.
He said stated that order passed by Justice Lewis Allagoa on Thursday in favor of Oshiomole can only Stand if an upper court other than a Federal High Court decides otherwise.
“All we know Adams is no longer an APC Chairman of our party because the court he went to in Kano does not have the powers to reinstate him as our leader. So he stands suspended,”Mustapha said.
Salihu who Spoke to reporters via a telephone interview reiterated that,” it is high time the embattled chairman come to terms with reality to pack his luggages and go for good.”
