NYSC: Borno Coordinator Urges Outgoing Corps Members To Shun Social Vices

 

The outgoing 2021 Batch ‘A’ stream II Corps Members deployed to Borno State have been advised to avoid all forms of social vices capable of truncating their life progress and growths.

The State Coordinator of NYSC, Nura Umar made the call on Thursday in Maiduguri at the passing out of ceremony of the Corps members held at the Conference Hall of the Federal Secretariat Complex, Maiduguri.

Umar, who extolled the virtue of confidence and patriotism exhibited by the Corps Members during the service year, lauded them for their various contributions to host communities they served.

The Coordinator equally admonished them to always be good ambassadors and remain security concious at all times while ensuring that they make positive use of social media positively and avoid night journey.

He also appreciated the State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum for his placement of high priority to the welfare and security of corps members in the state.

In his goodwill message, the State Chairman , NYSC Borno State Governing Board, Danjuma Ali represented by the SSA on Jobs Creation and Youth Empowerment/NYSC Desk Officer , Governor’s Office Mr Christopher Akaba, appreciated the outgoing corps members on behalf of the State Government and good people of Borno State for their selfless service rendered to the state.

The Chairman congratulated them on their successful completion of the service year and wish them journey mercies to their various destinations.

A total of 391Corps members deployed to Borno State Successfully passed out at the ceremony.

Highlights of the event was the presentation of Certificate of Service to deserving corps members.
