NUJ Borno Celebrates Zulum @ 56

The Borno State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) under the leadership of the Chairman Comrade Abdulkareem Haruna, has  joined the citizens of the state and well-wishers nationwide in celebrating the 56th birthday of Gov. Babagana Umara Zulum.

A statement by the union Secretary, Chiroma Ali Ibrahim, said the milestone offers a moment to reflect on the Governor’s unwavering commitment to public service and his exceptional leadership through unprecedented challenges.

“Governor Zulum’s tenure has been defined by his relentless pursuit of peace, security, and development in Borno State. His courage, determination, and compassion have inspired hope and resilience among the state’s people, especially those affected by the devastating insurgency.

“The NUJ Borno State Council acknowledges and commends his administration’s work to rebuild communities, provide humanitarian aid, and create opportunities for economic empowerment.

“The Governor’s dedication to good governance, transparency, and accountability has set a high standard for public service in Nigeria. His focus on education, healthcare, and infrastructure has had a real, positive impact on the lives of ordinary citizens.
