APPRECIATION
Salman Khursdid once said “You learn from every election, the one that you win and the one that you lose. And then you prepare for the next”.
I have indeed participated in many elections. I have won some and lost some, the just concluded primary election is one of them.
The journey was not the one I went alone, therefore I will not take for granted the sacrifices and contributions of many individuals and groups.
To this end, I will like to humbly take this opportunity to thank the citizens of our dear state for not only trusting in me but also supporting me throughout the campaign period up to the time of election.
I also want to thank my party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) for giving me the platform to serve the people of my constituency at the National Assembly as well as the privileged to participate in the just concluded governorship primary election.
To my campaign team, I will say a big thank you to all of you. I will not forget the herculean task of traversing the nook and crannies of the state with you people.
I thank our delegates for participating in the election, especially those who gave me their votes. The election as far as I’m concern is free and fair. I have since congratulated the winner.
Our stakeholders have been great. I thank all of them for the support they gave me. The roles of Engr Markus Gundiri, former Governor Murtala Nyako, Boss Mustapha among others have been wonderful.
I can’t forget my friends, family and the media for their support.
I thank you so much.
