The Mubi Emirate in Adamawa State has organised a special durbar to round up the Eid-El-Fitr celebration.
A press statement by Kakaki of the Emir, said the colourful durbar which is one of the best was witnessed by members of the Emirate Council led by Lamido Mubi, Alh. Dr Abubakar Isa Ahmadu.
Other dignitaries that graced the occasion include Hon. Justice Abdulaziz Waziri Hassan Bebel, Appeal court judge Asaba Division, Delta State, Grand Khadi Adamawa state, Hon. Ibrahim Sudi, Special Adviser to H. E Governor Fintiri on small and medium scale industries Princess/Chieftaincy Titleholders of the Emirate, Eze Igbo of Mubi Emirate & his high chiefs, District heads, Heads of Security Agencies and Tertiary institutions, as well as serving/retired top civil servants, business moguls, politicians, market men/women, women and youths Associations.
“This years durbar, was rated the best in the history of the emirate in recent past, which was evident from the eid ground, to the procession through the ancient Mubi Town to the Emir’s Palace where HRH addressed his subjects and enjoined them to always live in peace, unity and harmony.
“He also enjoined them to support government policies and programmes. He called on his subjects to embrace farming activities and entrepreneurship to acquire skills for economic independence.
“HRH urges parents to always enroll their wards into schools. He thanked all for finding time to witness the Eid -el-el fitr sallah and durbar celebrations.
“Prayers were offered for sustain peace and unity in the emirate, Adamawa State, Nigeria and the world at large,” the statement added
