Flagging-off the exercise in Mubi North, Mubi South and Maiha Local Government Areas respectively, a stakeholder of the party ,Alhaji Umar Alfa Belel said the reason for the movement was to ensure that PDP is rescue in the state with all members giving a sense of belonging.

Alfa urged party members to be calm and patient as senior stakeholders like Dr. Umar Ardo were pushing hard at the national secretariat to ensure justice is done in addressing the constitutional act committed by Shehu Tahir led faction of the party.

“Complaints of maltreatment and impunity against us by the party in the state has been compiled and lodged at the necessary quarters for action.

“Our party’s constitution explained clearly in S.48(1) that as party official if you are given a political appointment, you can’t come back to your former position of party official as the case we are now seeing in Adamawa where local government party chairmen acted for six months as council chairmen and still return as party chairmen.

“The same applies to some state executives of the party given appointed in the state cabinet and yet maintain their positions at the party. This is illegal and unconstitutional and must be addressed, “Alfa said.
