Humanitarian cause: Emnamu Foundation Donates SUV to JDPC Yola Catholic Diocese
In a remarkable demonstration of its dedication to humanitarian causes, the Emnamu Foundation has donated a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) to the Justice Development and Peace Commission (JDPC) of the Yola Catholic Diocese. This generous contribution underscores the foundation’s commitment to supporting initiatives that uplift the less privileged and promote social welfare.
The official handover of the vehicle took place today, with the president of the Emnamu Foundation, Dr. Emmanuel N. Musa, represented by Comrade Chakuyada Godwin, a key coordinator of the foundation and a close associate of the philanthropist presenting the car keys to the Bishop of Yola Catholic Diocese, Most Rev. Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza.
Godwin emphasized the deep appreciation and respect the foundation holds for the bishop’s tireless humanitarian efforts.

He stated that the foundation was inspired by Bishop Mamza’s relentless dedication to assisting those in need, particularly the internally displaced persons (IDPs) affected by the Boko Haram insurgency. He noted that the bishop’s unwavering commitment to humanity served as a catalyst for the establishment of the Emnamu Foundation, with the aim of joining forces to alleviate suffering and empower the underprivileged.
“Bishop Mamza, you have been a beacon of hope for countless displaced individuals since 2014. Your selfless service to humanity has inspired the formation of Emnamu Foundation, as our president seeks to emulate your exceptional humanitarian strides. By donating this vehicle, we extend our gratitude and reaffirm our commitment to supporting your noble mission,” Godwin said.
He further stressed that humanity is a shared responsibility, stating, “An injury to one is an injury to all. It is imperative that we cultivate a sense of empathy for those facing severe challenges. The Emnamu Foundation is determined to contribute in every way possible to alleviate suffering and support the vulnerable in society. This SUV is a token of our unwavering support, and we hope it aids in reaching more people in need.”
In his response, Bishop Mamza expressed profound gratitude to the Emnamu Foundation and its president, Dr. Emmanuel Musa, for their thoughtfulness and generosity. He acknowledged the donation as a significant encouragement in the diocese’s ongoing humanitarian work.
“This extraordinary gift is not just a vehicle; it is a symbol of encouragement and solidarity. The Emnamu Foundation has firmly established itself as a humanitarian organization of great impact, and I have no doubt that, by the grace of God, it will gain international recognition. Dr. Emmanuel’s selflessness and dedication to humanity are truly commendable,” Bishop Mamza said.
The bishop also praised Dr. Musa’s inclusive approach to philanthropy, highlighting his impartial support for people of all religions, ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds. “He does not discriminate; he sees all human beings as equals. I pray for his continued success and encourage him to persevere in his humanitarian endeavors,” he added.
Bishop Mamza assured that the SUV would be put to great use in serving the less privileged within the Yola Diocese. “This vehicle will enable us to reach those in remote and underserved areas, transforming countless lives in the process. May God continue to bless Dr. Emmanuel Musa and multiply his resources abundantly,” he concluded.
