Gunmen again attack Adamawa Village, kill 2, set houses a blaze

Unknown gunmen have attacked Holma village in Hong local government area Northeast Nigeria Sunday night killng two people and injured one.
Locals say that the attackers also burnt more than twenty houses and food stuff worth hundred thousands of naira.
For now, the situation is now calm with the deployment of security personnel which comprises soldiers, Police, Civil Defence, and local hunters.
The chairman Transition committe, Hong local government Usman Inuwa Waganda who visited the village to symphatize with the victims condemned the dastardly act, stressing that security have been directed to fish out the perpetrators.
“The local government will bring urgent relief materials to the victims to cushion their hardship i also appealed to the state government and other agencies to assist the victims with foodstuff.
“Everybody should sleep with one eye open, each community of the local government to form vigilante group so tyat they can assist security personnel in the maintenance of law and order” he said
Also commenting  the Village Head of Holma Michael Wayamomni said the attackers stormed the village around 11pm  at night on Sunday and fired  gunshots before  setting houses ablaze.
He confirmed the killing of two people and injured one, while four cows are now missing, maintained that they are now living in perpetually fear due to inadequate security and called on to beef up security in the area.
“Two people were killed and one seriously injured.
” The arsonists are now at large, so we are calling on government and security agencies to come to our plight, ” he urges.
This is the third time the village came under attack by rampaging gunmen suspected to be herdsmen.
