The Borno Sector of the Federal Road Safety Corps ( FRSC) has decorated 32 newly promoted Marshals in the command with their new ranks.
Speaking at the ceremony on Thursday in Maiduguri, the Sector Commander, Mr Sanusi Ibrahim said those who benefited from the promoted comprised of seven Marshals from Inspector cadre and 25 in the Road Marshal Assistant Cadre.
Ibrahim tasked the newly promoted marshal to reciprocate by showing more commitment and dedication to duty.
He reiterated the commitment of the sector to ensuring road safety in the state and urged for more support from all stakeholders to the Corps for more positive results in the onerous task.
The sector Commander lauded Gov. Babagana Zulum administration for its commitment to rehabilitation of dilapidated roads to ease transportation on busy roads within the state capital.
