The Borno State Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr Sanusi Ibrahim on Friday paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed Shehu of Dikwa, Alhaji Ibrahim Ibn Umar Ibrahim Elkanemi.
The sector commander who led a delegation of officials from the sector command to the new Shehu, said they were there to congratulate him over his emergence and wish him a successful rein.
The sector commander urged for the royal father’s support in advocating for proper use of road by his subjects to reduce road accidents.
The sector commander assured the royal of the Corps commitment to always work with relevant stakeholders like traditional institution to promote safety on Nigerian roads.
In his response, the Shehu lauded FRSC for the visit which he said was a big honour to him being the first from any uniform organisation in the state since his appointment as Shehu of Dikwa.
He commended the organisation for its immense contribution in maintaining safety on the roads and assured his fatherly support at all time.
