Four Executive Directors of the Gombe State Board of Internal Revenue during the Dankwambo led administration that were sacked by Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, have filed a case against the Governor, Executive Chairman of the board and the Gombe zonal head of operation of the EFCC.
The plaintiffs are Aishatu Yakubu, Muhammad Musa Muhammad, Wesley Kumusa Audu, and Mijinyawa Sani Labaran.
The dependent council of 1st and 2nd responded which are the governor and the executive chairman of the board of internal revenue Barrister Mu’azu Alhassan said they will be served by the service.
A Y Muntaka is the counsel of the 3rd and 4th responded which are the head of the Operations of the Economic and Financial crime Commission EFCC as well as the EFCC zonal office in Gombe.
The leading council of the plaintiffs Barrister Habu Abdu, informed the court that they have served both the parties on the 8th & 9th of November, as such, they want the court to fix the date for the hearing.
The high court judge, justice N I Afolabi, asked the parties to fix a date for hearing the case. They all decided on Monday the 16th day of December for hearing.
