Focus on the poor, downtrodden, Adamawa philantrphist, Dr. Emmanuel Charges media

Adamawa born business tycoon and philanthropist, Dr. Emmanuel Musa has bagged an award of humanitarian man of the year.

The honour conferred on him today by Kano based tabloid, Arewa newspaper marked another milestone for the philanthropist as he has been bestowed with such honours in the past for his numerous humanitarian interventions.

According to the management of the newspaper, the gesture is part of their responsibility of identifying distinguished personalities who have excelled in their endeavors, thereby touching the lives of others.

Mr. Raphson in his remarks, expressed delight in the exceptional attributes of Dr. Emmanuel, who he described as a blessing to the entire north and Nigeria at large.

He further enjoined other well meaning Nigerians to emulate the good examples of Dr. Musa so that the impact of their wealth can be felt in every nook and cranny of the country.

Dr. Emmanuel who was represented by his Chief of Staff and the coordinator, Emnamu foundation, Comr. Kukuya, expressed gratitude to the media house for finding Dr. Musa worthy of such a reputable award.

“Dr. Emmanuel typifies the proverbial golden fish, which cannot be hidden anywhere. It is evident that his good deeds is fast spreading like wildfire, that is why he is being spotted, identified, recognized and honored by a media outfit in a distant place like Kano.

“This speaks volume of his indelible marks in the annal of history. I’m sure, this kind of gesture is recorded not only in the books of history, but also in the hearts of good men,” Kukuya said.

He urged media houses to cultivate a deliberate bias in favour of the poor, the destitutes and the down trodden, who languish in a sorry state with no one to project their voice.

“It is imperative for the media houses to revisit their areas of priority. It is their sole responsibility to bring into account the living condition of the vulnerable group, who are left to their own predicaments,” he said.

Comr. Kukuya further appealed that the media should hold leaders accountable for their primary responsibility of welfare and security of the citizens without which, there is no essence of the government.

He pledged to maintain the tempo of his interventions to the downtrodden members of the society for the good of all and sundry.
