Rep. Jafar Magaji representing Mubi North/Mubi South/Maiha Federal Constituency said Federal Government has approved three mini dam projects the constituency.
Magaji made this known while briefing the Emir of Mubi, Alhaji Abubakar Isa Ahmadu at his place on the development.
The lawmaker said that the dams were part of the water projects request started by his late predecessor, Njidda Ngela, which he followed up.
Magaji who was in company of a five-man team of engineers from the Ministry of Water Resources to inspect the sites for the dams, said the dams would be sited in Muchalla, Mubi North LG; Kwaja in Mubi South LG, and Manjeki in Maiha LG.
The lawmaker urged sustained support for government to continue to deliver dividends of democracy to the people.
He assured that as a lawmaker, he would continue to ensure quality representation for the people of his constituency.
The Emir of Mubi, Alhaji Abubakar Isa Ahmadu thanked the lawmaker for his exemplary representation and urged other politicians in the zone to emulate him.
The Emir urged politicians in the area to unite and work for the progress of area.
