The immediate past president of Youth Wing of Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) Engr. Daniel Kadzai, has bagged a prestigious award for his humanitarian services during his days in office.
The award was presented to his representative Decon, Yusuf Aske, the CAN chairman Gombe state.
The faction leader of Adamawa state YOWICAN who organized the event Rev. Gabriel Shall, told our reporter that Kadzai and other beneficiaries have demonstrated commitment to the development of Christian Youths in the state.
On the controversies between his group and the ex-YOWICAN president (Kadzai) said, “we were given fake information about Engr. Kadzai, after our private investigation we discovered that all the allegations were false. We call him and had a family meeting.”
He said that the award given to Engr. Kadzai is a confirmation that he is not found guilty of the concocted lies levelled against him by detractors of good government.
On the issue of factions in Adamawa state YOWICAN, Shall claimed that he is the only leader of the group in the state, pointing out that out of the five Christian blocs in Adamawa State, four formed his cabinet and the 21 local governments.
However, another factional leader Bro. Godwin Joseph, described Shall as a
scam, pointing that he is illegally parading himself as leader of the group.
He challenged Shall to tell the members of the public where his office is located as the head of YOWIN CAN in the state.
“If you want to see the head of YOWIN CAN in Adamawa state come to CAN Secretariat and you will meet me sitting in the office with my staff. That is where our office is officially located,” he said.
Joseph told our reporter that he has already notified the police over the illegal activities Shall is using the organization’s name to perpetrate.
On the award he said that the beneficiaries are men and women of integrity, but that group is illegal.
