Eid-el-Fitr: Borno NUJ Extols Eid Values, Tasks Members On  Ethical Reporting

The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Borno State Council, Comrade Abdulkareem Haruna, has felicitated with the entire Muslim Ummah across the state on the occasion of Eid el-Fitri.

Haruna in a statement by the Secretary of the Council, Chiroma Ali Ibrahim also urged journalists on dedication to professionalism.

“As we all  celebrate this joyous and rewarding  occasion of Eid el-Fitr, we extend warm greetings and heartfelt wishes to each and every one.

“May this special day bring us  peace, happiness, and abundant blessings as we mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
During this festive period, the leadership of the Union urges all to reflect on the values of unity, compassion, and solidarity that Ramadan instills in us.

“The Chairman also calls on all journalists to work with dedication to truth, integrity, and the dissemination of information that positively shapes our society – a commitment that is truly commendable.

“May your families be surrounded by love, your hearts filled with joy, and your spirits uplifted with the blessings of Eid.

“Let us continue to uphold our responsibilities with diligence, honesty, and a commitment to excellence in all that we do,” the statement added.
