Don’t use CAN for your selfish political interest – Group tells Abare

From Justine Musa, Gombe

The Northern Nigerian Christians peace Group has asked Rev Abare Kala, Northeast Chairman of Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN) who has been operating without office address for decade to drop his ambition to convert CAN to a Political Association.

The spokesman of the group Pastor Zakaria Audu, told newsmen today in Gombe that Kala and his cohort had reduced CAN to a motor park organization.

“Abare Kala should resign from Pastoral work and join politics without using CAN to feather his greedy political interest, he should not be allowed to destroy CAN to water his greed any longer.

” “CAN Paul Biya” Abare who want to hijack CAN at all cost to negotiate his political interest should think twice, we are watching all his desperate moves from one politician to another collecting money,” the group said.

The Group said that Rev. Joshua Bigla, the plaintiff who swore 23 page affidavit in Court has come under intense threat after CCN Bloc suspended him on instance of Abare.

Investigation has revealed that Bigla was said to have withdrawn under duress from the case for his dear life.

The group added, “Christian leaders without principles and discipline can’t lead 21st century church. Shame! to Kala and his cohorts”.
