The stakeholders and members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Dilli ward in Demsa Local government Area of Adamawa state have accused the party chairman of the council, Mr.Gibson Pwadidi of anti-party activities.
Spokesman of the aggrieved members and Dilli Ward chairman, Mr. Samson Kumbita said all have not be well with party at the ward level since the assumption of office of the embattled party chairman alleging that Mr Pwadadi has been a divisive figure disuniting people in the party.
Kumbita expressed dismay over the unruly behaviour of the ward chairman lamenting that as faithful loyalists to the party, they had bore all these quietly schooling him if he may change leadership style bearing all encompassing and embracing but proved to be incapable of learning.
Kumbita stated that the action became necessary as the party chairman has refused to tow to the path moderation and reconciliation.
“Since the assumption of office of the PDP chairman in Demsa,he has been divisive figure disuniting people in the party,disrespecting every other person in government and the party other than his paymasters whom are mostly outside of the party now,ethnicising virtually everything within and outside of the party to suit his personal interests as aligned with that of his paymasters .
“Creating animosity and enmity amongst party officials and members,factionalising the party along interests of principalities and powers he worships and adore.
“The crux of this briefing today is to bring to an end the unruly and xevatious actions and attitude of Mr.Gibson Pwadadi in his leadership of the PDP Demsa local government area.
“He refused to tow the line of reason and reconciliation in a family affair and vehemently insists on using the instrumentality of police against his own even where he was the aggressive element and even where the police admonished him to settle with his people.
“Mr.Gibson and his paymasters be informed that the party is greater than any individual or entity and the good people of Demsa would never be taken for granted and or for a ransom.The people of Demsa are enlightened and the PDP would never provide a haven for spies and political jobbers” Kumbita fumes.
When contacted on his mobile phone for his response on the matter, Mr. Pwadadi claimed to be attending a meeting and promised to call back for his own side of the story but couldn’t as at of the time of filing in this report
