Adamawa Government has inaugurated its Isolation Centre as part of measures to contain any case of Corona in the state.
Speaking during inspection of the centre at the Specialist Hospital, Yola, the state Commissioner of Health and Human Development, Prof. Abdullahi Isa, said the centre was fully prepared to handle any patient with the virus.
Isa said the centre is equipped in the case of eventuality associated with Coronavirus.
The commissioner also noted that a committee on publicity involving health workers in Local Government Areas and the media have commenced mass enlightenment of rural communities on the virus and preventive measures.
He reiterated the need for personal hygiene as one of the major steps to guard against the virus.
