The Borno Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has congratulated Mallam Isa Gusau, the Special Adviser (SA) to Governor Babagana Zulum on Communications and Strategy for graduating with distinction in his Masters Degree programme at the University of Leicester, United Kingdom.
Gusau bagged a distinction in Media and Public Relations.

A statement issued on Friday by the council Secretary, Mohammed Ibrahim, said the development was recieved with excitement by Journalists in Borno as Gusau is one of them.

“It is heartwarming for all the working journalists associated with the SA in Borno State and necessary to identify with this feat coming from a renown academic institution bestowed on one of ours in addition to his previous First Class Degree in Media and Public Relations and Advertising from Middlesex University in London.
“NUJ equally acknowledges how dear this Media Guru (Isa Gusau) is to our dear Union whose services has earned the Union numerous unprecedented achievements as well as promoted the image and interests of the Government and people of Borno State positively beyond the African continent.
