Former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna has expressed deep shock over the death of Mrs Fibi Nadah, noting that the death of the Amazon is a great loss to the Bachama Kingdom, Adamawa State and Nigeria in general.
Haruna who extended condolences to the Bachama traditional council, His Royal Majesty, Homun Daniel Shaga and Adamawa State government noted that Madam Nadah will be sorely missed in view of her exceptional motherly role to the society.
Haruna who described Late Mama Fibi Nadah as a role model and frontline activist in gender sensitization and mobilization for women in politics said, her contributions to women development and participation in politics cannot be overemphasized.
Haruna noted that the late woman in her life time gave modest contributions to the development of the state in multifaceted ways adding that she has left her footprint on the sands of time.
He said Bwatiye nation will miss her greatly especially her motherly contribution to the Bwatiye Culture and tradition and prayed God to repose her soul.
Late Fibi Nadah, a former Commissioner of Information in the defunct Gongola State died recently after a protracted illness in Yola.
