The National Youth Service Corps in Adamawa state today recorded another milestone as its Editorial and Publicity Community Development Service (CDS) group entered into a partnership with the American University of Nigeria (AUN) Club on eurobic exercise.
The main term of the agreement as revealed by the Head of AUN Club Recreation Department, Mr. Kuma Semari is that, ” Corps members who wish to come to the Club as a CDS group will be allowed to use all eurobic facilities and also be attended to by facilitators for free.
” Corps members who may come as individuals will be charged N1,000.00, instead of the N1,500.00 the Club charges other clients,” said he.

Mr. Semari however said that Corps members who come in a company of between 10 and 20 people,” but not under the umbrella of a CDS group will be given better discounts than those who come as individuals.”
Mr. Kuma and two instructors of the Club took the Editorial and Publicity CDS group through several activities during the maiden edition of the eurobic exercise, and afterwards conducted them round other recreational facilities which include Tennis court, Badminton court, Volleyball court, Swimming pool and Gym.
The President of the Editorial and Publicity CDS group, Miss Ekaette Emmanuel, who spoke on behalf of her colleagues expressed gratitude to the AUN Club for such rare privilege.
She equally thanked NYSC for making CDS one of its four cardinal programmes, which engenders unity among Corps members at a micro level.
The Supervisor of the CDS group, Mr. Yusufu C.Z. Philibus was there with the Corps members to ensure they conducted themselves in accordance with the basic tenets of the NYSC Scheme.
