Air Force Comprehensive School graduates first set of students ‘

The Air Force Comprehensive School, Yola, has graduated its first set of students in a colourful ceremony on Wednesday.

Speaking at the graduating ceremony, the Commandant of the school, Wing Commander A.A Odok, who listed some of the academic achievements of the young school thanked the Chief of Air Staff (CAS) for his show of love and sustain support for the school.

“Among the recent interventions in the school include the furnishing of the technical department, renovation of sports pavilion, renovation of this multipurpose hall where this event is taking place today among other interventions,” Odok said.

He also lauded the support to Chief of Administration, Air Officer Commanding Tactical Air Command, Director Education, Commander 153 BSG and other units commanders of NAF Base in Yola for their support.

Speaking at the occasion, Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Prof. Maxwell Gidado, lauded the school for its contribution in quality education in the state.

Fintiri reiterated the commitment of his administration to providing free and compulsory education from primary to secondary schools in the state.

In his remarks, the chairman of the occasion, Mr Silas Zwingina represented by Mr Zakariya Faha, commended the management of the school for its achievements and urged it to sustain the tempo.

Highlight of the occasion is the presentation of prizes to deserving students.
