Adamu Dodo Bags UN-POLAC Personality Of The Week

Dr Adamu Muhammad Dodo based in Yola, Adamawa State, has won the 10th UN-POLAC Personality of the Week

Dodo is the  lead Publisher of the Periscope Global, the UN-POLAC Deputy Country President (North) and the Editor-In-Chief of the POLAC World.

Dodo’s emergence as personality of the week is contained in a press statement on Wednesday, issued by UN-POLAC Director General, Prof. Halo B. Eton, who announced, “UN-POLAC personality of the week 010, Dr. Adamu Muhammad Dodo let us celebrate him”

A multidisciplinary and versatile personality, Dr. Adamu Muhammed Dodo is an instructor, researcher, publisher, public relations, expert, a media and communication consultant, event manager and an Ambassador for Peace of United nations -POLAC .

Member of a global literati, an expert in persuasive communication and diplomacy, Dodo is an administrator and mentor on entrepreneurship.

From his admission into the UN-POLAC, Dr Dodo has progressed from Programme Manager, to State Coordinator and eventually to Deputy Country President ( Northern Nigeria) with additional responsibility as Editor-In- Chief of the POLAC World, a UN-POLAC magazine.

Among numerous to mention national and global awards, Dr. Dodo has bagged the UN-POLAC peace and community relations award.

Dr. Adamu Muhammed Dodo is a fellow member of so numerous professional bodies, namely, Chartered Institute of Global And Diplomacy, Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy And Management, Institute of Professional Manager And Administrator of Nigeria and Institute of Professional Entrepreneurs and Strategic Administrator of Nigeria

Dr. Dodo is also a member of the Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria, member Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), member, Chartered Institute of Administration (CIA), member (former state coordinator) Institute of Mass Communication and Information Management, member, (former state coordinator) Nigerian Institute of Marketing and a member Nigerian Institute of Management among others.

Dr. Dodo, in addition to being the head of information and media relations department of Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, Yola, Adamawa State and a visiting instructor at Modibbo Adama University, he is the lead founder and chairman editorial board of the periscope global publishers. pioneer editor-in-chief of the POLAC World, a UN-POLAC publication and communication consultant with the WRAPA and FUDECO among other bodies.

An indigene of Adamawa State Nigeria, Dr Adamu Muhammad Dodo is a graduate of Mass Communication/English from Bayero University, Kano. He answered a clarion call to serve  his nation in Anambra State under the NYSC scheme in 1998-1999 and in a bid to become a professional teacher, he went to Federal University Of Technology Yola, the present Modibbo Adama University, for a Postgraduate Diploma in Education in 2004. Dodo, obtained another postgraduate Diploma in Management, with specialization in Human Resources Management) in the same school in 2010.

Following his burning desire to attend the highest level in education, Dodo also obtained a master in public administration MPA Program with specialization in Human Resources Management from the National Open University (NOUN) after which he bagged a honorary PhD in peace Advocacy, being awarded by the Institute of Peace Advocacy of the UN-POLAC.

Dr. Dodo loves reading, knowledge-seeking, critical thinking, sharing of ideas by means of writing, playing indoor sports, wide technical reading and traveling and he is blessed with five children he had from his caring and lovely late wife.
