The Speaker of Adamawa House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas has described his victory at the Yola Division of Court of Appeal as a welcome development and a victory for the people of his constituency who voted for him.
The speaker said that with the Friday judgement of the appellate court which reaffirmed his victory, the course remain clear for him to concentrate on legislative matter and quality representation of his people of Uba/Gaya Constituency and Adamawa in general.
While commending the sustain support and prayers of the people of his constituency for his success, the speaker who was voted under the platform of PDP assured that he would not disappoint them.
Other lawmakers whose election were affirmed by the Court of Appeal are Musa Umar Bororo and Shuaibu Musa Langaga both of APC representing Mubi South and Mubi North respectively.
