Adamawa IPAC, CNPP back Fintiri’s inauguration

The leadership of Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) and Conference of National Political Parties (CNPP) in Adamawa has lent support to the inauguration of governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa scheduled to take place on Monday 29 May, 2023.

The chairman of IPAC in Adamawa, Bello Babajo during a press conference in Yola on Friday said political parties in Adamawa are totally behind the inauguration of the governor and will continue to support the government even after the inauguration.

He said it is incumbent for them to celebrate and congratulate the governor for the giant developmental strides he instituted in Adamawa State.

Also speaking, the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State, Barr. A.T Shehu thanked the leadership of IPAC and CNPP for their solidarity to the PDP.

He invited the general public to attend a friendly football match between the PDP and IPAC/CNPP teams as part of activities leading to the inauguration on Saturday.

Shehu urged the good people of the state to come out en masse and attend the swearing in of governor Fintiri come 29 May, 2023.

He said the party was aware of misconduct and anti party activities on the part of some PDP members adding that the party will wield the big stick against anyone found wanton of sabotaging the party in the last general election.
