Adamawa Government has promised to look into the complaints by some workers owed six month salaries.
The State Deputy Governor, Chief Crowther Seth, made the promise while addressing the workers who staged a protest march to Government House, Yola, on Wednesday.
Seth lauded them for their matured conduct and assured them of positive result from the government.
Gov. Fintiri had in his independence address to the state on Tuesday assured workers with genuine case not to entertain any fear as his administration was committed to justice and fairness to all.
“I am aware that the decision to review certain actions by the previous administration that affect the Civil Service is causing some anxiety. I want to assure you that our intention is to ensure that due process is followed in government actions and all Adamawa people are treated equally.
“Under my watch, no qualified indigene of the state should be, or will be, denied access to government employment, promotion or service because of his or her religion, tribe, social background, economic status or political views,” Fintiri said in the broadcast.
