Adamawa community in Abuja urges Boya to contest 2027 guber election

A group under the aegis of Adamawa residents in Abuja, has expressed profound support, camaraderie and confidence in the leadership of the member representing Fufore, Song federal constituency in the house of representatives, Hon. Aliyu Boya Wakili noting that it continue to align with his political ambitions and aspirations.
A statement by the chairman of Adamawa residents in Abuja, Atiku M. Abubakar noted that the decision was arrived at following the resilience, commitment and dedication Wakili Boya showed to the All Progressives Congress (APC) adding that it is ready to back him to contest the 2027 governorship election in the event he threw his hat into the ring.
“Following our second official meeting held at Barcelona Hotel, Abuja, the Chairman and members of the Adamawa Residents in Abuja wish to formally declare our unwavering support for Hon.Aliyu Boya Wakili as the most credible and people centered candidate remaining in the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 Governorship race in Adamawa State.
“In light of the departure of prominent APC figures such as Senator Binani, Senator Aziz Nyako, and Senator Abbo, Hon. Aliyu Boya Wakili now stands as the most formidable pillar within the party possessing both strong grassroots support and proven leadership capacity.
“We believe that if the APC truly values loyalty, performance, and popularity over sentiment and internal politics then Hon. Aliyu Boya Wakili should be granted the party’s 2027 Governorship ticket unopposed.
“Hon. Aliyu Wakili Boya has consistently demonstrated exceptional commitment to both the APC and the people of Adamawa through a series of empowerment initiatives, employment opportunities, and inclusive leadership.
“His efforts have prevented many loyal party members from becoming politically displaced. Indeed, his activities have sustained the visibility and functionality of the APC, especially at the grassroots level.
“Every quarter, he organizes empowerment programs or facilitates access to federal opportunities for young people. His recent initiatives have even outpaced those of the state government. His inclusive Ramadan welfare packages benefited both Muslims and Christians alike. During Sallah, he distributed clothing, food items, grinding machines, sewing machines, motorcycles, and cars.
“He has also facilitated the provision of 12 transformers, the construction of the Malabu-Pariya Road, and the commissioning of a police station. Notably, over 200 youths have been recruited into the Nigerian Police Force and many others are in training now through his direct intervention and assisted the three police station in his constituency with hilux vehicles for patrol as chairman house committee on police institution
“As committed party members and concerned citizens, we urge the APC National Leadership from national to state level to acknowledge and reward Hon. Aliyu Wakili Boya unwavering loyalty and impactful service by granting him the party’s 2027 Governorship ticket.
“The National Security Adviser (NSA), as the recognized leader of the APC in Adamawa state, can personally attest to Hon. Aliyu Wakili Boya loyalty, discipline, and alignment with both the core values of the APC and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision of good governance with national security adviser corruption free governance.
“We, the Adamawa Residents in Abuja, hereby unanimously endorse Hon. Aliyu Wakili Boya and respectfully urge him to accept the call to contest the 2027 Governorship election in Adamawa State,” the statement said.
