
The Adamawa House of Assembly is to partner the state Police Command in addressing some of the security challenges facing the state.
The Speaker of the house, Aminu Iya Abbas stated this during a familiarization visit to the police command headquarters in Yola.
He said the issue of security is significant to the socio economic well being of the people hence the house commitment to ensure effective collaboration.
The speaker called for sharing of ideas as a step to tackle criminal activities in the state.
In his remarks, the Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Adamu Audu Madaki, lauded the house for its commitment to collaborate with the command and assured the legislature of necessary support whenever the need arises.
