The outgoing Adamawa House of Assembly has passed a total of 51 Bills and 162 motions from June 2015 to January 2019.
Statistics from the House Clerk, Mr Francis Gbansenso, showed that the 51 bills passed were from a total of 92 bills sponsored by 17 lawmakers from the 25 member assembly.
Hassan Barguma (APC-Hong) has the highest number of bills passed out of the 11 he sponsored, followed by Kabiru Mijinyawa (APC-Yola North) who sponsored nine bill out of which six were passed.
Sunday Peter (APC-Guyuk) and Musa Mahmud (APC-Mayo Belwa) have five bills each passed into law, while Musa Shehu Mohammed (APC-Mubi North) have 4 bills passed.
Abubakar Isa (APC-Shelleng) and Late Abdulrahman Isa (APC- Mubi South) have three bills each passed into law.
Suleiman Alkali (APC-Yola North), Abdullahi Yapak (APC-Verre) and Umar Hammanjoda (APC-Jada/Mbulo) have two bills each passed into law.
Joseph Kwada (PDP-Michika), Lusambani Dilli (APC-Demsa), Saleh Thompson (APC-Leko/Koma),Safiyanu Aliyu (APC-Song), Justina Nkom (PDP- Lamurde) and Rufai Umar (ADC-Gombi) have one bill each passed into law.
Others like Abubakar Saleh (APC-Fufore/Gurin), Alhasan Hammanjoda (APC-Ganye) and Sodom Daniel (APC-Numan) have their pending bills at various stages hoping for passage before the assembly rounds up in June.
Meanwhile, only seven member out of the present 25 assembly members won their reelection bid.
The members are: the House Speaker Kabiru Mijinyawa of Yola South, Alhassan Hammanjoda of Ganye, Mohammed Mutawalli of Girei, Isa Yahaya of Maiha, Joseph Kwada of Michika, Abubakar Isa of Shelleng and Abdullahi Yapak of Verre.
