The Labour Party in Borno has inaugurated 168-member Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) to mobilize for the victory of its presidential candidate in the state.
Speaking at the inauguration on Saturday in Maiduguri, the Director General of the Borno PCC, Mr Gavs Katiya said their was also 54 support groups to assist the PCC.
Katiya said that the party which has presence in all the 27 Local Government Areas of the state remain confident that it would garner all the votes of those not happy with current situation in Nigeria.
“All votes of oppressed people and that of all those who are not happy with the present system will go to Obi.
“We want to urged the people of Borno that even if you have your own in the race, go for the best ticket which is Obi-Datti,” Katiya said.
“The Obi-Dati presidency will usher in good governance of providing security and welfare to the people through competence/Merit, pragmatism and honesty,” Katiya said.
